Sandy Puc’ Portrait Design in the running for Denver’s #1 Portrait Photography Studio

This month (and until September 24th), you can all vote for Sandy Puc’ Portrait Design to be Denver’s #1 Portrait Photography studio! Every year, the Denver’s A-list features 4,300 of Denver’s best local businesses. Eligible businesses are nominated by readers and winners are selected by popular vote meaning that people like you choose Denver’s best of 2010. After past success in this category, we are honored to be nominated. Although I know that my staff is the best there is, I would love to let them know that others feel that way too!

About sandypucblog

Sandy’s passion for connecting with people and her remarkable ability to capture her subjects’ personality make her one of the world’s premier portrait photographers. She holds the prestigious titles of Print Master and Explorer of Light from Canon USA and has served on the Board of Directors for the Professional Photographers of America. She isn’t as concerned with those titles, though, as much as she is proud of her ability to transform a single moment in her studio into an invaluable, time-transcending work of art. Sandy first established herself and her studio with heart-touching children’s portraits and remains one of the world’s most-respected children’s portrait photographers to this day. Charity and education play significant roles in Sandy’s life as well, as Sandy Puc Portrait Design is consistently involved with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Locks of Love, Operation Smile, The Children’s Hospital, The Food Bank of the Rockies and The Denver Dumb Friends League. Sandy is also a co-founding member of Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, a non-profit organization that provides portraiture services to families whose babies will never leave the hospital. Complementing Sandy are three incredibly skilled Associate Photographers: Helen Noakes, Liz Ogg and Sean Rozales. Combined, Helen, Liz and Sean have been with Sandy for 14 years. Each Associate has extensive professional photography education in addition to specific training under Sandy. Getting your portrait taken can be unnerving, even stressful for some, but Puc’ and her staff have a knack for putting their subjects at ease.

  1. Thank you thank you thank you! after a few years of owning a great digital camera and only using the auto setting you taught me how to use the manual and understand lighting, shutter etc..
You spoke at my Cherry Hills Mops thursday. We all loved your lesson. Thank you for doing that for us and all the others you teach.
Your generosity of time and those amazing free portraits were amazing.
I came home and starting trying out my new skills.

    • Giselle,

I’m glad you have been able to get great use out of the class. The MOPS class is always a fun thing for me to do as well. I remember your class, and it was awesome. Maybe we’ll see you next time! :)

      Sam
